I need to talk about this show for a minute. Admittedly i have gotten a bit sucked into it this season. I think Jillian is a nice girl, but i am seriously starting to doubt her intelligence! I can not believe she keeps giving that asshole country singer, Wes, roses! I mean seriously, he is just trying to promote his band, which was painfully obvious when on the hometown visit he got his band together to play, not so much for Jillian but for us, the viewers! how tacky! and the girlfriend issue! I mean come on girl! How the hell are you believing him, he doesn't even try very hard to defend himself, and it almost seemed like he was saying that she was stupid to not be able to figure out what the truth was. I am embarrassed for her! How stupid is she going to feel when she watches the show and see everything this prick has been saying!
on another note, I'm glad Ed is back, but then again, he already bailed once. I get the feeling she likes things she can't have, and well i can relate to that. but Wes...uughh so not worth the time!!

Pretty much my most favorite song ever! and i have a serious girl crush on her. I highly suggest everyone take the time to check her out live! This is actually the second version of this song that she has done. the first version was on moonpix, and was much slower. the moonpix version made me think she had accepted her metal heart, where as this version is like "fuck you metal heart!"

Uptown Unveiled - Awesome!

Last nights awesome street party which was uptown unveiled was so much fun! first of all how can you beat getting to walk your dog and drink in the street at the same time. Lots of great music, cool art installations, Skateboarding, great people watching and again...drinking in the street :) I took a lot of photos which i will edit and post this weekend. I also got a lot of bruises from taking skateboarding pictures. Apparently i am a magnet for runaway skateboards! OUCH!!! oh, and i lost my lens cap :( off to find a replacement at lunch.

Uptown Unveiled!

Tomorrow evening is Uptown Unveiled in Downtown Oakland! come check out all the great places in my neighborhood. Cool bars, restaurants, theaters, art galleries, and more. There will be lots of stages set up with music and dancing. The events will be from 16th-23rd streets, along telegraph and Broadway. Come check it out! I Hella Heart Oakland :)

TRUE BLOOD!!!!

Just re-ordered HBO so i can watch one of my favorite shows again, True Blood! I can't wait for the season two premiere on Sunday! Let me first say, this is not twilight! no offense to twilight, but this show is on a whole different level. But of course it is, it's by Alan Ball, you know...the genius who did six feet under. He has a special knack for crazy sex, and crazy drugs, and creating a wonderful surreal world! I also love that Bill and Sookie (Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer) are together in real life. too cute!
